Use of Facilities

The Board of Trustees of the Cutler-Orosi Joint Unified School District recognizes that school facilities are primarily intended for the education of the children of the District. However, school facilities may be used for the purposes set forth in the California Education Code, provided that such use does not interfere with or restrict the educational program of the District. Use of various school facilities may be granted to responsible organizations and groups within the community, subject of the rules and regulations set forth by the Board of Trustees and the California Education Code.

All Applications should be submitted not less than two weeks in advance. Return the application to the respective principal’s office or the Maintenance Office. An approved copy will be mailed to the applicant after the application has been acted upon by the Business Office. Rental, utility, and custodial fees may be charged. All payments for rental charges are payable to Cutler-Orosi Joint Unified School District and checks shall be sent to the District Business Office Organizations from outside of the District will be asked to provide proof of liability insurance.

A certificate of Liability Insurance naming Cutler-Orosi Joint Unified School District as Certificate Holder and as an Addition insured on an Endorsement Statement requires the following insurance coverage:

  • $1,000,000 General Liability,

  • $2,000,000 General Aggregate
