Walking Distance
State law sets minimum walking distance for students.

The distance is measured by drawing a circular radius from a central location established at the school site campus and around the school within the school’s attendance boundary. Adjustments may be made depending on the geography of the neighborhood.
- Students living in excess of the defined zone will be provided with home-to-school transportation.
- Students living within these circles will not be eligible for home-to-school transportation.
