Background
The voters in the Cutler-Orosi Joint Unified School District approved a $16 million dollar bond, Measure E in June 2016. The District sold approximately 4.5 million dollars from Measure E and also sold approximately 1.7 million dollars from the remainder of Measure O, passed in November of 2004. This will provide funds needed to make critical facility improvements at the District’s schools by:
Renovating and/or constructing science labs and career tech education classrooms
Constructing new classrooms, restrooms and school facilities to avoid student overcrowding
Modernizing outdated classrooms, restrooms and school facilities
Upgrading P.E. fields and facilities for school and community use
Improving student access to computers and modern technology
